Pagan Song
By Sophira Sipayzo
Under the softly falling light
Of a full moonlit night
When thirteen become one
And good work is done
Whether among fields of green and gold
Or the light of candles burning bright
Whether among warm hearts of home and hearth
Or beside misty rivers and forest streams
The threefold law rings true
And the magick begins anew
With the returning of the light
What was wrong is set to rights
When thiteen become one
And good work is done
Witches work all through the night
Helping others with their plight
Whether among fields of green and gold
Or the light of candles burning bright
Whether among warm hearts of home and hearth
Or beside misty rivers and forest streams
Spells are cast witches and covens true
And as with seasons their spells renew
In turns the moon and sun shall die
And midnight blue will light the sky
